Millie Lynch

Since moving from the UK to Sydney three years ago, I’ve immersed myself in diverse roles within the music industry, spanning event curation, gig booking, music programming, and performing as a saxophonist. These experiences, across venues, presenting companies and independent projects, have provided me with a well-rounded perspective on the opportunities and challenges established and upcoming artists face.

Most recently, I independently managed Owen Kennedy’s (UK) Australian debut and EP production, and supported jazz group GODTET in sourcing London support acts for their European tour. These projects reinforced my passion for artist management and my enthusiasm for helping artists thrive in an increasingly globalised music industry.

With a background in classical performance and a collaborative, approachable style, I’m eager to continue building the skills to foster meaningful connections and guide artists toward sustainable music careers.

Thomas Becker

While I was studying and during my professional years, I have always been engaged in music and frequently attended live music events where I connected with many musicians and industry professionals. In 2022, I have been asked by artists if I would be able to assist them with their management. This gave me the opportunity to follow my passion and decided to step back from the corporate world.
Since then, I also have been working as Event Manager, Artist Liaison and VIP Manager three time at Bigsound as well as at Laneway, Yours & Owls and recently Beyond The Valley. In September 24, I finally decided to officially start my artist management company “Mad Capsicum” (an anagram of Madcap Music). My current roster includes neo-soul artist Athanasia, Brisbane band Lucid Safari, Koi Pond from Perth and Sydney producer Yoskos In The Cosmos

Finn O'Toole

Music has been an integral part of my life since a young age. I grew up playing music with my brother, both of whom are great influences in my passion and taste for music. I have extensive experience playing in bands, which I have done in Sydney for the past five years. I manage and organise my primary band by booking gigs and recordings, running the band’s TikTok and Instagram, promoting the band via the use of Ads Manager, composing press releases and pitching. This is where my passion for Artist Management developed. Over the last eighteen months, I have managed an Australian artist who is based in LA, Andy Clockwise, for whom I have booked several small overseas tours of America and continue to liaise with venues and promoters for. I have knowledge of how to pitch artists to promoters and run Ads Manager accounts across Social Media.

I am currently working at the PR Agency Thinking Loud as a Project Assistant. In this role, I support both the Music and Culture teams in the promotion and brand management of a range of highly-established events, including Lost Paradise, SXSW Sydney, and Spilt Milk, as well as popular brands, such as Young Henrys and Red Bull Music. This is a demanding position which requires adaptability, multitasking and time management, as I am given tasks from both teams with strict deadlines, which include maintaining the agency’s Social Media, writing press releases, and securing editorial and radio interviews. The role has taught me the relationship between PR and the management team, which will help me in artist management. My aspiration as an artist manager is to support artists and bands in achieving the success they deserve, while also contributing to the growth of Australian music on a global scale. I am passionate about management, and I believe one of my greatest strengths is my organisational skills, which I consider one of the most important qualities in management. Having yet worked at a Management company, I look forward to gaining valuable experience from current managers and helping their current roster.
