Fairgrounds Managers Sanctuary

The 2018 Fairgrounds Managers Sanctuary was held in Berry on the NSW South Coast, immediately following Fairgrounds Festival, from Sunday 2nd - Wednesday 5th December 2018. It followed the success of the inaugural AAM Fairgrounds Managers Sanctuary in December 2017.

The concept behind the “Fairgrounds Manager Sanctuary” is to value managers as professionals and build strong peer to peer management networks locally and internationally. The informally structured program, facilitated by former AAM Executive Director Leanne de Souza, aimed to share insights and learnings from a global industry that is constantly shifting. There were opportunities to switch off and relax, go for swims, eat meals together, and unwind for the year. 

The AAM gratefully acknowledged the support of Handsome Tours for the provision of Fairgrounds guest passes for all participants, and Australia Council for the Arts for their financial support.
